Carrie Jackson

Bringing over 19 years of business experience to the position, Caren (Carrie) Jackson became a Business Consultant at the ASBTDC at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in January 2025. She has over 14 years of service at the University of Arkansas in accounting, finance, and compliance roles. Carrie has also worked for small businesses in accounting, finance, and human resources.

Carrie comes from a long line of entrepreneurs. Both of her parents have started successful businesses and sold them. Carrie’s dad has a lengthy career as a serial entrepreneur who often owned several types of businesses at the same time.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas, she holds a Master of Business Administration as well as an Accounting degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Carrie also holds an active CPA license in the state of Arkansas.
