In 2021, Ozark Natural Foods Co-Op moved from its original location in the Evelyn Hills Shopping Center to a newly constructed building on the corner of College and Lafayette in Fayetteville.
This new location features a homestead, taproom, kitchen, tons of indoor and outdoor gathering space, and so much more.
We at ASBTDC could not be prouder to have helped them with this monumental project that has resulted in a fantastic community space, social hub, and amazing Fayetteville co-op. In October 2021 ONF celebrated their 50th anniversary serving this community!
When the new location became available, we assisted them with market research to validate the choice to move there.
Once they finalized the decision, our consultant Lori Lieblong worked with the Co-Op’s general manager and head of finance to start the lengthy process of preparing to apply for a bank loan. They dove into the financial statements and details, consolidating lines of products and categories to ensure that the financial information was appropriately formatted for a bank loan application.
This venture required an enormous amount of work, but with help from the ASBTDC, the project was possible.
