Catherine Corley, ASBTDC business and innovation consultant, served as both mentor and teaching team instructor at the summer 2023 National Science Foundation I-Corps Site program at the University of Arkansas. The goal of the program is to open new avenues of discovery and promote economic development in Arkansas.
The six-week program was comprised of 12 teams of students and 2 UA faculty with 9 teams completing the program – the largest to-date. The I-Corps Site program is open to students and faculty who are interested in pursuing commercialization of their research and the program assists them in bringing their technology to the workplace.
