From a Personal Experience to a Purpose-Driven Project
The origin of Sandra’s business is not rooted in a trend, but in a deeply personal experience. It all began when her daughter started experiencing acne issues. As a mother, Sandra sought professional guidance, consulted specialists, and explored different options for skin care. At the same time, she began educating herself about daily skincare routines, habits, and the impact that the products we use consistently can have on our skin.
This journey sparked a deeper interest in understanding the skin from a holistic, conscious, and preventive perspective. Through education, research, and consistency, Sandra discovered how proper routines and responsible product use could become a powerful complement to at-home skincare. Over time, she not only supported her daughter but also began sharing what she was learning with other mothers in her community.
She soon realized that acne and skincare concerns were common topics among friends, acquaintances, and especially within the Hispanic community. Many families were looking for clear, trustworthy, and culturally relatable information. This realization led Sandra to make a key decision: to study esthetics in Rogers to professionalize her knowledge and help others from a solid, ethical, and responsible foundation.
As her vision grew, so did her commitment to education. Sandra began guiding mothers and young people on the importance of hydration, the prevention of premature aging, and the creation of skincare routines tailored to each skin type. Her approach has always focused on education, support, and raising awareness about the long-term impact that habits and products have on skin health.
With the goal of turning this passion into a formal and sustainable business, Sandra received guidance from the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC), which supported her throughout the business development process. Through this support, she has been able to comply with local and regional regulations, properly structure her business, and develop marketing strategies to connect with and serve her community.
Today, Sandra has opened a small studio in Springdale, where she offers personalized skincare services, including deep facial cleansing, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, facial massages, facial rejuvenation treatments, and facial spa services. Each treatment focuses on hydration, overall wellness, and the prevention of premature aging, always beginning with an individualized assessment and an educational approach.

Her project combines professional knowledge, personal experience, and a strong sense of purpose, with one clear goal: to help her community care for their skin in a conscious, informed, and responsible way.
