Mary Beth Brooks
Mary Beth Brooks served as the President & CEO of The Bank of Fayetteville in Fayetteville, AR from 2004-2015. She received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from University of Arkansas and received her Masters in Finance and Banking from University of Wisconsin.
Very active in her community, Brooks served on the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Board of Directors, UAMS Northwest Board of Directors, Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (Chairman in 2009), Fayetteville Public Education Foundation Board of Directors until 2014, Northwest Arkansas Council from 2004-2016, Beaver Water District Board of Directors, and the Fayetteville Public Library Board of Directors. She also served as a Commissioner on the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
Brooks helped found the Walton College Alumni Society, was named one of the 25 Most Powerful Women by U.S. Banker in October 2007 and Arkansas Business Executive of the Year, 2007. In 2012, she was recognized in AY Magazine's Powerful Women of Arkansas.
Brooks and her husband, Tim, live in Fayetteville, and have three children.
Lori is the Lead Business Consultant with the Walton College Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center. She works with small business clients on various types of business issues such as financing options and the loan process, preparation of financial projections, market research, business planning, marketing, and financial management. Lori's areas of expertise include branding strategy, marketing planning and sales strategy.
Lori also coordinates media relations and marketing efforts on behalf of the Walton College ASBTDC and oversees its small business training seminar program and community resource development partnerships with area chambers of commerce and other business development associations of the eight-county region of Northwest Arkansas. Lori joined the center in 2016.
Lori is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and she holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and an MBA, both from the Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas. Prior to joining the ASBTDC she worked in multiple east coast metropolitan areas and Northwest Arkansas in the areas of marketing, sales and analytics for consumer products companies and has extensive experience working with large national retailers; including Walmart and Sam's Club.
